Daniel Fast
Join Acts as we spend 21 days in prayer and fasting starting January 7th. With many plans ahead of us, we do not want to dive into this new year without seeking the Lord. Church-wide we will participate in the Daniel Fast as prescribed by the prophet Daniel before he went before the King and again when he sought the Lord. Typically during this fast, we choose to abstain from eating anything other than fruits and vegetables.
If this type of fast may not be suitable for you, feel free to choose something to fast from: perhaps a certain food, television, or social media as possible alternatives. What's important is that we seek the Lord together as a family, and forsake the things we usually depend on or enjoy in order to remind ourselves of our dependance on Christ.
